A New Braunfels Attorney Who Picks Up the Phone

I started Accordance Law Firm because I believe estate planning should feel like a conversation, not a transaction — and because the families in this community deserve an attorney who knows their names.

Why I Practice Estate Planning in Central Texas

I'm Max Chamberlain, a solo estate planning and probate attorney based in New Braunfels, TX. I serve families, older adults, and small business owners across Comal and Hays County who are ready to put a real plan in place — and who want to work with someone they can actually reach when they have a question.

Before opening Accordance Law Firm, I built a foundation in the legal and procedural details that make estate plans hold up when they're needed most: the right trust structure, the deed that avoids probate, the power of attorney that works the way you intended. I brought that foundation here, to the community I live in, because this is where I want to do meaningful work.

I'm a New Braunfels resident with deep roots in Central Texas. That's not a marketing line — it means when you call me, you're calling your neighbor.

What Working with Me Actually Looks Like

There's no phone tree here. No intake coordinator who passes your call to a paralegal who passes a message to an attorney you'll meet once. When you call Accordance Law Firm, I answer — or my legal assistant does — and we get back to you the same day.

I keep my practice intentionally small so I can give every client the attention their plan requires. Estate planning isn't a form you fill out. It's a conversation about your family, your assets, what you want to happen, and what you want to prevent. That conversation deserves a real attorney on the other end of it.

I also offer Saturday appointments for working families who can't step away during the week. My New Braunfels office and my San Marcos meeting space are both available by appointment — so geography doesn't have to be a barrier.

The Services I Focus On

My practice centers on estate planning and probate for individuals, couples, and small business owners in Central Texas. I work on revocable trusts, wills, Lady Bird deeds, powers of attorney, and business succession planning. On the probate side, I guide families through estate administration in Comal and Hays County — whether or not a will is in place.

I don't take every type of case. I don't handle probate litigation, will contests, criminal matters, or personal injury. That focus is intentional. It means the work I do, I do well.

Ready to Start a Conversation?

Estate planning doesn't have to be complicated or intimidating. It starts with one honest conversation about where you are and what you want to protect. I'd be glad to be the attorney you have that conversation with.
